The Salty Dog Bar & Grill in Omaha: Top Spot for Charbroiled Wings & Casual Dining

The food was delicious. The service was pretty good. It was kinda loud but otherwise great. If you get a wrap, the things that hold it together are swords, fun detail. They give you plenty of dressing. Overall an amazing experience, would recommend.

Doordashed wings, a burger, and fries. Can't speak for in restaurant, but the wings were amazing and fries are fresh cut not frozen and delicious! Will be back. Best charbuffed wings I've ever had. Got teriyaki. Mushroom Swiss burger was amazing! Perfectly cooked, juicy, big and flavorful! Will be back!

Overall a good place to eat. Atmosphere was nice, plenty of TVs to watch sports on. Charbuff wings were good, a little to much char that kind of took the flavor away but hot and still moist. The poutine was really good, large enough to be a meal on it's own. The server asked me all the wrong questions about what I wanted on the poutine and I even questioned it and she was like yeah. When she went to put the order in she realized the mistake and admitted to it, which was good. The first beer I got had a fruit fly or gnat on the head, the server just picked it off with a straw when I pointed it out. She did ask if I wanted a new one and I said no. I've definitely ate worse, but professionally she shouldn't have even asked. Should have just poured a new one. Overall, I was pleased and would come back

I came across this place on TikTok for a Chicken Wing Review and Loved it so I decided to throw my Brother a 40th birthday party here. We went and seen the space and it did not disappoint it was amazing everything we wanted all wrapped in one good food and drinks, pool table, Big TVs also a private nice room Shout Out to CHRISTOPHER!!! He was our server and I believe bartender He was very nice very knowledgeable about the Menu and Restaurant, He always checked on us so for that reason we will be coming back here thank you guys for everything and thanks for making my brother a unforgettable 40th birthday

I recently stayed at a local hotel and dined at The Salty Dog Bar & Grill. I ordered the chicken strips, which were absolutely delightful—crispy, tender, and clearly homemade. They paired perfectly with a fresh side salad, which was a nice touch. My guest had the tacos and couldn’t stop raving about them, saying they were full of flavor and hit the spot. I Highly recommend checking it out for a casual satisfying dining experience! Don’t let the pics fool you.

What a fun afternoon! Thanks, Google. It was clean, the waitress was awesome loved her personality. Food was served hot and tasty. It was so good we over additional appetizer. The owner brought over some caramel sauce for the cheese curds. My kids and husband were in heaven with the flavor. We definitely will be back.

Wow! That was my reaction when trying the CharBuff wings! Where have you been all my life? Seriously, Guy Fieri and the Triple D show need to pay you a visit! I've been eating wings since the early 1990s and I can't remember having any wings better than these. We live in Ohio, and I wish you had a location a lot closer to us. But, the next time we're near Omaha, we'll be sure to stop in. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was a little too noisy for me (but it's a bar, so I figured it would be loud).

Our family is traveling for the holidays and we stopped to try out this bar and grill because it was near our hotel. We were very happy and impressed to find a great atmosphere with wonderful service and amazing food! Our family had a great time watching football, hanging out, and trying each other's food. I would highly recommend eating here. Our server Amanda was great, and we never had to look for her.
